
Attorney Kenneth Mitchell, Jr. is an experienced trial lawyer who specializes in Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation. Attorney Mitchell has handled hundreds of criminal cases and the majority of these involved serious criminal allegations. Prior to joining Giddens, Mitchell & Associates, P.C., Attorney Mitchell served as an Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County, where he represented the State of Georgia in a number of bench and jury trials; and gained experience prosecuting homicides, sex crimes, and violent felonies. Attorney Mitchell has also served as a Business Litigation Associate and represented clients in pre-trial motions, depositions, mediations, and trials.
Attorney Mitchell is a native of Atlanta; and holds a B.A. and M.A. from Georgetown University and received his Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law. Attorney Mitchell is a 2019 graduate of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Leadership Academy for the State Bar of Georgia; and currently serves as the YLD President-Elect of the State Bar of Georgia. He is also a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Gate City Bar Association, Georgetown University Club of Metropolitan Atlanta, Mercy Care Foundation (Development Committee), and is a Life Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
